Why homeowners choose Saje.
Trust is built on what is written down, how the home is treated, and how the project ends. Here is what every Saje customer can hold us to.
Six things you get on every project, in writing.
A proposal you can read
Every surface, the preparation it gets, the products by line and sheen, the protection plan, the schedule, and the price.
Insured, with proof
A certificate of insurance is provided with your proposal, and coverage for workmanship and the installed system is written into it.
A protection plan
Floors, furnishings, fixtures, landscaping, and adjacent rooms covered or masked before preparation begins. Daily cleanup.
Premium products by line
Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams premium lines, specified by surface and never substituted quietly.
Updates that come to you
You know when the crew arrives, what stage the work is in, and what decisions remain.
A closeout you sign off on
Our detail review, then your walkthrough. Touch-ups handled before the project is called done.
No invented stories, no borrowed stars.
Saje does not use fictional customer names, manufactured ratings, or stock testimonials. Reviews we publish are verified, come from real projects, and appear with the service, the city, and project imagery only when the customer gives permission. The proof behind every one of them is the process.
- Verified Google review excerpts
- Service and city when permitted
- Project imagery when approved
- Unedited video testimonials when available

Lead-safe, plaster-literate, and careful with the details that make a house.
Much of the housing we serve predates 1978. Surfaces that will be disturbed are handled under the EPA lead-safe rule, plaster is repaired rather than hidden, and original millwork is prepared for enamel rather than replaced. The detail is the point of the house, and it is treated that way.

We treat the last one percent of the work like it is the whole job, because to you, it is.
The Saje standardQuestions homeowners ask before hiring us.
Is Saje insured?
Fully insured, with proof of insurance included in every proposal. Coverage for workmanship and the installed system is written into the proposal itself.
What makes Saje different from other painters?
The process. A walkthrough before any proposal, scope and products in writing, a protection plan, proactive updates, and a closeout that ends with your walkthrough. Most contractor problems are operational, and those are the ones we are built to remove.
Who is behind Saje?
A Metro Detroit family. SAJE is built from the names of the family behind the company, and the standard has to hold whether or not anyone is watching.
How do you handle reviews?
We publish only verified reviews from real projects, with the customer's permission, and never invented names or manufactured ratings. The proof behind every review is the same: what is written down, how the home is protected, and how the project is closed out.
Do you work on homes built before 1978?
Yes, with lead-safe practices written into the plan where surfaces are disturbed, as the EPA rule requires.
How do I start?
Request an estimate. Share the service, city, and timing, and we will schedule your walkthrough.
Start with a walkthrough, not a sales pitch.
Every project gets the full standard: written scope, a protected home, proactive updates, and a final walkthrough.
